A fire ravaged through a home oat 305 East Cotaco Street near Carroll Street in downtown Russellville Friday afternoon.
A massive black cloud of smoke was visible from as far away as Walnut Gate Road according to witnesses. According to a witness at the scene, the home belongs to George Fuller. With winds ripping through downtown, ashes from the fire were blowing as far as three blocks from the scene.
Law enforcement authorities have the area closed to thru traffic as firefighters battle the blaze.
