The month of May will be a busy one for Franklin County Schools, with graduation and awards days on the calendar.
Franklin County Superintendent of Education Greg Hamilton said all five county high schools will hold graduation ceremonies on Thursday, May 24th. Awards Days are set as follows: Tharptown, May 2nd at 8:30 a.m.; Phil Campbell, May 4th at 8:30 a.m.; Belgreen, May 9th at 8:30 a.m.; Red Bay, May 10th at 6 p.m., and Vina May 17th at 9 a.m.
The last day of school for students will be a half day on Thursday, May 24th. Teachers will have a professional development day that afternoon for a half day.
Teachers will have a work day on Friday, May 25th.
