A benefit motorcycle ride will help offset medical costs for cancer treatment for a local woman.
“Cindy’s Journey” Benefit Ride is set for this Saturday, May 12. Cindy Mitchell was diagnosed three years ago with ovarian cancer. After a short period of remission, doctors discovered the cancer had spread through her body and had reached her brain.
Cindy and her family refuse to give up, and they have found a doctor in Texas who may be able to help her. The benefit ride and concert is a time for the community to pull together for Cindy’s next journey to be a road of recovery and happiness.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. at Natchez Trace Harley-Davidson, 595 U.S. 72 West in Tuscumbia. The ride starts at 11 a.m. There will be a free live concert by Luke Shepherd and the Cold Water Band.
The event also includes a bake sale and auction, with all proceeds to benefit Cindy and her family. There will be food, raffles and a 50-50 drawing. Children will enjoy a bouncy house by the Next Level.
Please join the cause and support Cindy’s Journey Benefit Ride this Saturday, May 12.
