Ten athletes from Russellville High School qualified to compete in the state track meet later this week at the Sportsplex in Gulf Shores.
The sectional track meet was held last Friday and Saturday at James Clemens High School in Madison. State meet qualifiers from Russellville were Naydelin Momentey in the 1,600M run; Momentey, Treyvia Pruitt, Lauren Hammond and Stephanie Fuentes in the girls 4X400M relay; Grayson Eady in the javelin toss; Ashaad Williams in the 400M run; and Williams, Devin Buckhalter, Jamaal Hubbard, Justin Howard and Charlie Felix (alternate) in the boys 4X400M relay.
