The Franklin County Farm-City Committee is sponsoring a poster contest. The Alabama Farm-City Theme is “Agriculture: Sustaining Future Generations.” Two divisions: K-3rd grade and 4th-6th grade. Posters must be horizontal, no smaller than 11 X 14, no larger than 22 X 28, and must be student’s original work. Posters are due on Thursday, November 5. Cash prizes will be awarded. Winners’ entries will be sent to the Farm-City Committee in Montgomery to be judged at the state level. For more info, call the extension office at 256-332-8880.
