Golden Tigers finish fifth in loaded field at Turtle Point Classic

Russellville's varsity boys golf team finished fifth in an 18-team field at the Turtle Point Classic in Killen on Monday.

The Golden Tigers shot 324 as a team and finished 13 strokes back of Class 7A Hewitt-Trussville, which won the tournament with a 311. Russellville was the top Class 5A finisher in the field.

Jaceton Murray led the Golden Tigers with a round of 77, earning a spot on the All-Tournament team.
